in brief IBM has opened a 200-seat business transformation outsourcing centre on the Gold Coast to offer customer relationship management, human resources, and finance services to the Asia Pacific market.

The company announced its recently-opened Brisbane centre would be complemented by another at The Exchange, Varsity Lakes.

The Gold Coast centre would meet a growing demand for multilingual business and technology services, according to IBM. The centre will deliver services in five languages: Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese and English.

Both the Gold Coast and Brisbane centres also provide customer relationship management (CRM) technical support for Lenovo Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
