IBM makes it cheaper to talk
IBM is hoping to boost volumes of its consumer speech recognition system by cutting the price by nearly 50 per cent.
VoiceType Simply Speaking for Windows 95 is now priced at £42 + VAT from an initial price of £72 + VAT. IBM claimed that VoiceType has been adopted by over 250,000 users since its launch last year.
