in brief IBM New Zealand country manager Katrina Troughton is moving to Shanghai after taking up a role as director of IBM's WebSphere division.

The executive, who has reported to IBM's Australia and New Zealand managing director Glen Boreham since his appointment in 2006, had been in the lead role since 2004.

A replacement has yet to be found; however, an IBM NZ spokesperson told ZDNet.com.au that the role would likely be filled internally.
