Infinite storage is on the horizon

A source at the Blogoscoped forums who volunteers his translation services to Google was given an interesting phrase to work on: "The result?... from today we are starting our infinite storage plan".

This is interesting because in March we were given solid evidence confirming the creation of a service known as GDrive, and more recently the login page for "Platypus" was inadvertently leaked.

We have been wondering about GDrive since last September when the domain gdrive.com was found to be owned by Google.  If this service is in fact being referenced by the text, it will offer Windows, Mac and Linux users unlimited remote storage with the speed of your local file system.  This aggressive promise would be possible with a synchronization approach rather than pure remote access.
