Intel Corp., the world's largest computer chip maker, will announce on Monday that it has formed a center in Beijing to promote wireless Internet technology throughout China. Intel plans to announce its plans for its new center at its Asia Pacific Intel Developer Forum in China. The mission of the center, to be called the Intel Wireless Competence Center, is to promote the development of wireless Internet technology through cooperation with leading companies in the Chinese cellular phone industry. -- Reuters
