in brief Internode has cut its broadband bundle prices for the customers it services through Telstra's wholesale ports on the same day Telstra officially boosted the data quotas on its own broadband bundles.

The new Easy Reach 30 Special broadband plan, bundled with Internode's telephone service NodeLine, will give users 30GB of upload and download quota per month for $29.95.

Internode product manager Jim Kellett said that the cut in prices will see the company offer its cheapest ADSL2+ service in areas it hasn't reached before through a number of Telstra exchanges.

"This is great news for any customers still on first-generation broadband plans, using 256 kilobytes per second or 512Kbps services. Today's launch lets them pay the same price, just $29.95 a month for broadband when bundled with an Internode phone service, for which they get six times the quota and a much higher speed," he said in a statement.
