in brief Internode has upped its national IP capacity by over 130 per cent, which it said was done due to a strong response for new broadband offerings.
The carrier has deployed 10Gbps links between Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide. It's also boosted the capacity of its links to Tasmania by 80 per cent.
Internode Network architect Daryl Collins said in a statement that the telco had replaced 24 small-capacity links with the five high-capacity links.
"As well as making our national network simpler to manage, getting rid of that plethora of smaller links allows us to use our network much more effectively," Collins said.
