iPad Camera Connection Kit can add support for USB keyboards and more

Now that the long awaited iPad Camera Connection Kit has shipped, some users are reporting that you can use the kit to connect other USB peripherals to an iPad.

TidBITS, an online newsletter and website for Apple-related news, tested various peripherals and confirmed that using the kit's USB dongle will allow the iPad to accept USB headsets and low-power USB keyboards. Of course, according to a short support article on Apple's website, "Apple does not recommend or support using the iPad Camera Connector with devices other than cameras."
