iPhone 4: Customer loyalty is with Apple, not carriers

The AT&T iPhone 4 drops more calls than Verizon Wireless' version, according to Changewave Research. And you know what? Dropped calls just don't matter. Apple customers love their iPhone 4 device carrier be damned.

The Changewave post spends a lot of time on dropped call rates. AT&T iPhone 4 had a 4.8 percent dropped call rate and Verizon's iPhone 4 had a 1.8 percent rate.

But here's the money shot:

Bottom line: Dropped calls don't seem to matter. Your loyalty ans satisfaction is with Apple not the carrier.
