Apple continues its global roll out of the iPhone 4 today with the launch of the smartphone in 17 more countries. Any bets as to how many more units will sell this weekend?

Up until now, the iPhone 4 has only been available in the U.S., the U.K., France, Germany and Japan. Now, the lucky residents of the following 17 nations will have a chance to discover the smartphone's infamous antenna problems for themselves:

  • Australia
  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Canada
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Hong Kong
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Luxembourg
  • The Netherlands
  • Norway
  • New Zealand
  • Singapore
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland

That's a pretty massive international release for a single day. Apple sold at least 1.7 million units during the opening launch weekend in June. While this weekend probably won't beat that number, it's sure to be a hit.

If you live in one of these faraway lands, you can purchase the iPhone 4 (in black, of course) online or in stores.
