If the latest iPad rumors are true, we could be seeing not one, but three versions of the iPad 2 set to roll out in 2011.

According to DigiTimes, Apple is planning to release three versions "supporting either or a combination of Wi-Fi, UMTS and CDMA." The new iPads are predicted to start going into mass production in January. There isn't any mention about display sizes nor storage capacities.

There are a lot of rumors and reports regarding a second generation of the iPad swirling around these days. DigiTimes has previously reported that we'd see a smaller iPad in 2011, even with OLED displays, and that initial shipments could reach up to 600,000 units.

Neverhteless, Apple has remained mum, so we're really just going to have to wait and see if any of those stories pan out.
