IT budgets will go up by 2.5% in 2005
Gartner estimated that IT budgets will be 2.5% higher in 2005 than they were in 2004.
Gartner estimated that IT budgets will be 2.5% higher in 2005 than they were in 2004. Gartner surveyed 1,300 CIOs representing more than $57 bln in spending and spanning some 30 countries. Top spending priorities in 2005, according to Gartner, are:

- Mobile workforce enablement
- Workflow management
- ERP upgrades
- Storage management
- Voice and data integration over IP
- CRM
- Business process integration tools
- Server virtualization
