IT spending to increase by 2.5% in 2005

Chief Information Officers expect IT budgets to increase by 2.5% in 2005, and believe their focus will be on supporting business growth and results, according to Gartner. Gartner surveyed more than 1,300 CIOs, who together represent more than $57 bln in IT spending and more than 30 countries, as reported by Tekrati.
