JetForm buys Delrina forms unit
JetForm has acquired Delrina's electronic forms business, including the strong-selling FormFlow and PerForm, from Symantec for $100 million.
Ray Mallendewicz, JetForm UK managing director, said the deal would give Delrina users access to JetForm's superior workflow integration. "They were our biggest rival in the UK. Delrina has a bigger user base but we were winning more new business." JetForm will continue to sell, develop and support the Delrina products with a long-term goal of integrating the technology into its own products, he added.
Symantec bought Delrina in 1994 and has since integrated its flagship WinFax fax software product under the Symantec name. WinFax is unaffected by the JetForm deal.
