Consumer electronics group Kenwood launched the world's first Internet enabled hi-fi at the Audio Expo '99 in Tokyo this week.

The as yet unnamed device will sport a modem and 13GB hard drive as well as 6.5 inch colour display to show the music available from Kenwood's download Web site. Kenwood have not revealed what digital formats will be supported, although MP3 and Windows Media Audio are likely contenders.
