Kong Chee Hoh to head CNET ASEAN operations

CNET Networks Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of CNET Networks Inc., has named Kong Chee Hoh as general manager, ASEAN. Kong assumes this position with responsibilities for the business development activities of CNET Singapore and CNET Malaysia. In addition, he will also take on an additional role of heading the regional marketing team.

Kong brings over 12 years of IT industry experience in Asian markets to his new appointment, where he has sales and general management expertise in both multinational and local corporations.

Most recently, he served as the general manager for Novell Singapore and Indonesia. Prior to that, Kong was the director for MIP International, a regional systems integrator organisation which he co-founded, and general manager, ASEAN for Lexmark International where he was part of the pioneer team that formed the regional organisation in 1991. Kong started his career in IT with IBM as a channel marketing representative.
