Latin music rattles the Web

A deal struck with America Online (AOL) will make Latin-music site LaMusica.com the Internet giant's main provider of Spanish-language music. As part of the deal between AOL and the Spanish Broadcasting system -- whose subsidiary JuJu Media Inc. owns LaMusica.com -- LaMusica will also supply CompuServe, Netscape Netcenter, Digital City and ICQ. Meanwhile, Latin American radio site Eritmo.com aims for the European market, vying to be the "Old World's first Latin-music site" after opening offices first in Madrid.
