Lenovo's answer to the iPad, the LePad, went through months of delays before finally being launched in one market, and now there's already talk of another.

The first LePad was unveiled at CES 2010 last January. The 10.1-inch slate was expected to go on sale in China during the first quarter of 2010. However, it was subsequently pushed back to December, and finally to summer 2011 for the worldwide launch.

Now that the LePad is available in China, Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing has revealed that a slimmer LePad will be rolled out in either September or October of this year. No other significant details were announced, but let's hope that developers learned plenty from making the first model and can speed things up with the release of the second.
