LG Enlighten, a budget smartphone, coming to Verizon September 22nd

Summary:LG's Enlighten isn't all too powerful. But it is cheap.

Verizon's latest super-affordable phone is the LG Enlighten, a 3G-using, keyboard-packing Android 3.2 Honeycomb device.

Specs-wise, the Enlighten isn't going to win any contests. With its 800MHz processor, 3.2-inch 480 x 320 touchscreen display, and 3.2-megapixel camera, the Enlighten is clearly meant for those looking for a more simple (read: cheap) alternative to the Bionics and Galaxy S II's of the world. Then again, all of that is pretty clear from its price.

The Enlighten will be available online on September 22nd, and in Verizon Wireless stores September 29th. Selling for $130, the phone will be available for $79 via rebate and two-year contract.
