LG has introduced the first two members of its brand-new Blade notebook series: the P430 and P530. In case you couldn't tell by the moniker "Blade," these laptops are going to be super slim.

On paper, the P430 and P530 seem relatively similar with the exceptions of display size and weight. Both are fairly light as the 14-inch P430 and 15.6-inch P530 weigh 4.3 lbs. and 4.9 lbs. respectively.

Otherwise, the specs that have been announced so far include:

  • Second-generation Intel Core i7 processor
  • NVIDIA GeForce GT520M graphics
  • LED LCD screens
  • 1.3-megapixel HD webcam
  • SRS technology
  • DLNA-enabled

Set to be available in a pair of boldly-named colors (Misty Blue and Titan Black), pricing hasn't been revealed yet, but an initial launch timeline has been posted. The P430 will roll out first at the end of May, followed by the P530 a month later throughout Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Asia.
