LibertySurf launches £20-a-year Internet deal

And another one joins the party...

European Internet service provider LibertySurf joined Britain's unmetered party Friday when it launched a £20-per-year service.

Users will have unmetered Internet access for off-peak calls. For on-peak unmetered access LibertySurf customers can pay 1p per minute or upgrade to a £35 a year deal.

Start-up CDs will be distributed by Comet and MVC Stores across the UK.

Britain has been inundated with different unmetered Internet deals since AltaVista started the ball rolling in March.

French-based ISP LibertySurf is backed by retailer Kingfisher and the Arnault Group. It is the most popular service provider in France.
