While Logitech's Harmony A/V remotes have long been coveted for their simple Web-based setup, they've always been priced high enough that most average buyers wind up juggling multiple remotes for their devices or picking up a cheapo universal remote instead.

Logitech has finally bit the bullet and has quietly launched two new Harmonys that are priced under $100. The $99.99 Harmony 650 (pictured) even has a color screen to view its menus, but can control one fewer device (five instead of six) than the $149.99 Harmony 700. It also requires you to remove the rechargeable batteries and juice them up using a separate adapter, rather than recharging them in the remote itself.

The Harmony 600 is even cheaper at $79.99, but that's because it eschews the color screen for a monochrome display. It still can control up to five different devices. And both remotes feature the Harmony's one-button activity-based setup, so you can just tap a single button to watch a DVD and the remote will automatically turn on all of the equipment associated with that task (TV, DVD, speaker system, and so on).

Both new Harmony remotes are expected sometime this month, and you can already pre-order the Harmony 650 on Logitech's Web site.
