Al Zollar, CEO of Lotus, announced the news in his keynote speech at this week's Lotusphere conference being held in Orlando, Florida. Discovery Server is a data search and expertise location engine designed to let companies manage knowledge workers and information. Discovery Server, together with Lotus K-Station, its portal software, make Lotus Discovery Knowledge System, which will cost $395 when it ships. Although the system has been in beta with many companies, its ship-date has been long delayed.
