Macromedia primes FreeHand Studio 7 for 3D Web explosion

Cross-platform software producer Macromedia today shipped FreeHand Graphics Studio 7 for Windows 95, Windows NT and Macitosh.

The program allows users to create 2D and 3D graphics for the Web and print and supports ShockWave, which enables users to incorporate vector and bitmap art in Web pages. Users can also embed different fonts in documents and hot links in graphics. The package includes the VRML design tool Extreme 3D 2 for creating 3D Web pages and print designs.

FreeHand Graphics Studio 7 is available now, retailing at £550. Current users of FreeHand Graphics Studio, or any application in the Studio, can upgrade for £160.
