McKinnon review court date set

The date has been set for a judicial review of Nasa hacker Gary McKinnon's extradition case.

On Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 May the administrative court at the Royal Courts of Justice will review whether Home Secretary Alan Johnson was right in law to allow the extradition of Gary McKinnon to go ahead, despite new evidence having been presented of his psychiatric condition.

The review dates were supplied by Karen Todner, McKinnon's solicitor.

The judicial review is one of the last legal barriers standing between McKinnon and extradition. McKinnon, who has Asperger's syndrome, has been diagnosed by psychologists as being suicidal at the prospect of leaving the country.

McKinnon stands accused by the US of hacking US military systems.
