McNealy: MS must be scrutinised

Sun Microsystems Inc. (SUNW) CEO Scott McNealy asked for strong enforcement of existing antitrust laws to reign in Microsoft Corp., during his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee this morning. McNealy said he won't ask for more regulation, but he warned that Microsoft (MSFT) must be scrutinised for predatory and exclusionary practices. He said Microsoft's monopoly has already stifled innovation. "The real question is how much more could have been achieved without the dead hand of Microsoft?" McNealy asked the panel.
