MetaTools+Fractal Design=MetaCreations
Graphics tool makers MetaTools and Fractal Design Corporation have completed their merger and announced that the combined company will be called MetaCreations Corporation.
"The combination of MetaTools and Fractal Design leverages our strategies for growing the professional digital graphics tool business for print and electronic publishing, video and entertainment while continuing to expand into the consumer visual graphics market," said MetaTools CEO and now MetaCreations CEO John Wilczak in a prepared statement.
The day before Friday's merger completion announcement, MetaTools released Kai's PhotoSoap (£40), an image manipulation package for Macintosh And PC.
