The Mexican telecommunications services market will generate over $26 bln per year by 2010, which is 30% up from the roughly $20 bln generated in 2005. Revenue growth will be mainly fueled by mobile and fixed broadband services. Traditional fixed lines are also expected to post growth in stark contrast to trends we are seeing in developed markets. In fact, we estimate Mexico will add roughly 20 mln new mobile subscribers between 2005 and 2006 while broadband connections more than triple during the same period, Pyramid Research said.
