Microsoft has issued a version 2.0 of their Security Bulletin Advance Notification for February 2014. The new version adds two bulletins, bringing the total up to seven updates to be released tomorrow.

We described the original five bulletins  last Thursday when they were first disclosed. The new ones are now numbered Bulletin 1 and Bulletin 2. Both are critical remote code execution updates, bringing the total number of critical updates to four this month.

Bulletin 1 appears to affect every version of Windows (except Server Core) and Internet Explorer. Bulletin 2 affects every supported version of Windows, although is much less severe on some of them.

We will be back tomorrow with more detail when Microsoft releases the actual bulletins and updates.
