After a lavish display at E3 last week, Microsoft has finally given the Kinect for Xbox 360 an official price tag: $149.99 as previously rumored.

The Kinect is now listed at Microsoft's online store as well as Amazon, where you can see that all Kinect titles will be starting at $59.99. Other stores have already been listing the Kinect at this price since June 14, but Microsoft strangely stayed mum.

The revamped Xbox 360 console is ready for pre-order for $299.99 with a July 13 ship date, while the Kinect and some of its gaming titles are up for pre-sale but won't ship until November 4. Others, like Forza Kinect and Star Wars Kinect won't even be available until December 31, 2011. Yes, 2011. There goes my holiday wish list for two years in a row.
