While at the Microsoft MVP (Most Valued Professional) Global Summit last week I spent some time exploring the Microsoft website for information about security and spyware.  One of the presenters in the security sessions mentioned that Microsoft has a customer support line for help with security updates, viruses, worms and the like.  I was not aware of that and my take is that a lot of other people aren't aware of it either. There is some good information on computer security at home including a spyware prevention video.  The free online and telephone support information for home users can be found here.  Everything is presented in a clear and easy to understand format and is especially suitable for anyone who is just  starting to learning about security.

There is also a page for security help and support for IT professionals as well as a number of security newsgroups where the MVPs often respond to questions and problems.
