It's patch Tuesday and that can only mean two things: Lots of patches and varying reports on how important the patches are. Meanwhile, the tech world seems to have trouble nailing down the number of flaws and patches.
The Washington Post has nine security holes fixed.
Reuters has five critical patches.
ComputerWorld has Microsoft releasing "six security bulletins detailing patches for nine separate flaws across several of its products."
eWeek didn't offer a count, but did serve up good detail.
As for me, I can't count all that well either and surely can't tell you how critical these things are. All the info is here. Enough with the counting. Start downloading those patches.
