MLS application for Windows Phone 7 Series announced
I am a huge Seattle Sounders FC fan and our family is a soccer family so I was pretty excited to hear about and see screenshots from the upcoming MLS mobile application from Cypress. This app will allow me to follow my team and received real time notifications.
If you also read my Mobile Gadgeteer site then you know I have a custom Sounders FC Zune HD that I am extremely happy with. I took my family to one Seattle Sounders FC game last year and as soon as we arrived home we placed our order for season tickets because going to the games is a blast and our family is a major soccer family. I received a press release from Cypress announcing their MLS mobile application for Windows Phone 7 Series devices. Application do have an impact on my purchase decisions and an application like this sways me even further to buying a Windows Phone 7 Series device.
Cypress' MLS application brings real-time game scores and stats, league standing, player stats, and video clips. I particularly like the notification system that lets you receive alerts when your favorite club scores, when the match is complete, and more. I will be at all the home games, but this application should be a great way to follow the Sounders when they are on the road and I look forward to trying it out for the 2011 season.
