Mobile World Congress took place this week and Kevin, James, and I spent most of MobileTechRoundup show #198 talking about the main news item from that event, which was Windows Phone 7 Series. It was great to see Microsoft make a long term committment to the smartphone space, but there are still a ton of questions to be answered before we see devices running WP7 later in 2010. HTC also announced three new beautiful devices at MWC and we are left with envy for our European and Asian listeners who get to have these devices this spring. Intel and Nokia left us a bit confused with their MeeGo announcement too. At the end of the show we discussed recent actions and experiences on the Palm Pre and webOS.
