MobileTechRoundup show #73; Vote for one of the 3 contest finalists

Three finalists were selected, one by each podcast host, for the Name Matt's Samsung Q1 UMPC contest and we are asking listeners to vote by downloading the small file for their favorite name. You'll hear the host that selected that name comment on the name you selected to download. We also chat about other topics covering the latest in mobile technology.

The whole gang is back for MobileTechRoundup show #73 and this show kicks off with informing our listeners of the 3 finalists of the Name Matt's Samsung Q1 UMPC contest. Kevin came up with an original idea for voting that I think the listeners will enjoy. Please pick your favorite name, Shadow, Qbacca, or Samsolo and then click on the link for the name to hear a short MP3 file with the host who picked that name leaving you a message of thanks. We'll check the stats after a couple shows and see which file was downloaded the most by unique IPs to pick the winning name.

We also chatted about other mobile technology including Kevin running Vista on his Q1, James checking out the new Samsung A990 feature phone with 3.2 megapixel camera, the new Bluetooth TransSend technology and Nokia's Wibree, the new Novatel HSDPA ExpressCard and more.
