Mophie rolls out juice pack batteries for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad

Summary:Mophie has introduced the juice pack universal line for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

Apple has improved the battery life on its products over the years. Miraculously, my first-gen iPhone still survives, while I still have bad memories about exchanging my now-extinct iPod Mini every six months because the battery refused to charge.

Still, for those on the go, there's never enough extra battery juice. Mophie has introduced the juice pack universal line for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

The juice pack collection includes a reserve (pictured above), a boost (slightly bigger and more powerful than the reserve) and then a full-on power station. The former two work only with the iPhone and iPod Touch and feature LED flashlights, while the station hosts the iPad. The charging accessories are available at Apple Stores for $39.95, $59.95 and $99.95 respectively.

Of course, carrying around an extra battery pack reduces the simplicity of carrying around a single gadget, but it could be a useful travel companion when you're lugging around a big bag already. What's one more accessory?
