Some details on the upcoming and mysterious (up to this point) Lenovo ThinkPad X100e have popped up on the German tech news site, Netbook News. And they certainly have a lot of tidbits to share.

While the article at the top is in German (and I don't speak German), there's still plenty of images with information in English without having to go to the not-entirely reliable Google Translate to decipher the details.

The ThinkPad (not netbook, apparently) will feature an AMD Athlon Neo processor and 11.2-inch screen, support up to 4 GB of RAM, optional GPS and have several wireless connection options as seen above (WiFi, Bluetooth, optional 3G). As for hard drive space, Engadget says up to 360 GB, while Gizmodo says up to 500. Maybe it will end up somewhere in the middle.

And if red, black or white is your favorite color, then you're in luck too. Although for such a technical, business-only looking laptop, the color options are a bit surprising.

There's no definite release date, but some sites (ThinkPadToday, UberGizmo, SlashGear) are swirling rumors about a potential January 5, 2010 release. We can only wait and see for an official announcement.
