More than $1 bln of online games sold in 2003

Online games had over $1 bil retail sales in 2003, according to NPD Group. Sales of games with online features saw a 167% rise in 2003 vs 2002. These games had 23 mil unit sales, up 182%. Since online games consoles were first launched in 2000, sales of online-compliant games have reached 33 mil units.
