MSI responds about Intel Sandy Bridge problems

Most manufacturers that have products integrated with Intel's Sandy Bridge technology have responded fairly quickly to the problems. MSI is no exception, and here is a more detailed response for those of you with newer MSI computers.

MSI’s all-in-one desktops with the second-generation of Intel Core processors will still ship as planned this March as they aren't supposed to be affected.

But the computer company is working to stop all current shipments of products involving Intel P67 and H67 motherboards and HM67 gaming laptops. Owners of such products can request replacements and upgrades for the affected motherboards and notebooks online or contact the original place of purchase. MSI is promising a UPS 3-day shipping label for returns and will deliver brand new items via UPS 3-day shipping, both at no cost to the consumer.

This is how customer service should be done, so hopefully this goes as smoothly as possible for anyone with the relevant gadgets. Until then, MSI has also posted how customers can safely use Sandy Bridge motherboards in the meantime.
