iPhone dissected

Some initial thoughts:

  • Wow!  Things are tightly packed inside that device.
  • Given that the AnandTech guys had to rip the back off the phone roughly to get into the iphone, it looks like home battery replacements won't be possible (well, not unless you want your iPhone held together with Duct tape).
  • The touchscreen is an incredibly complex bit of kit.
