Need to crunch some energy vs. performance numbers? SiCortex updates index

SiCortex, which is trying to drum up industry backing for its Green Computing Performance Index, has updated the suite of benchmarks to focus more squarely on performance vis-a-vis energy consumed. It measures performance-per-wat using the HPCC benchmark suite and is meant specifically for pretty high-end systems (like the ones you'd find crunching some serious scientific or industrial computations).

Of course, the company loves the fact that its house-brand computing architecture (non-Intel) just to kick some serious butt. Here's background from a post I did late last year. Curious how your own systems perform? You can find the updated calculator tool here.
