Peak Technologies' Net.Jet (about £30 on the street) is a bottom-up Java tool that loads site links in the background and examines the cache for frequently visited sites to make moving in and between sites faster, particularly if users regularly visit the same sites, according to the firm.
Nick Vermeulen, VP of business development at Peak, said Net.Jet works with Windows 95 and NT, Internet Explorer 3.0 and Netscape Navigator 2.0 or higher. A Macintosh version is currently under development and a Unix implementation is planned.
The product asks for 3Mb of disk space and can be updated via the firm's Web site.
UK distribution is through Cross Atlantic Software on 0171-228 6992.
