Netscape wants to be Everywhere, and backed up that bid today with a host of releases including a standalone version of Navigator and the first client release with the Netcaster push element integrated.

Under the Netscape Everywhere banner, the firm today said it has released a $39 version of Navigator only. The browser includes Netcaster but dispenses with the bells and whistles of the Communicator client.

Also available is Communicator ($59) with Conference, Composer, Collabra and Messenger added; and Communicator Pro ($79), adding Host-On-Demand, AutoDemand, Calendar and AutoAdmin. Netscape will push the products harder than ever through retail channels.

Also announced were Messenger Express, allowing remote users to access rich HTML mail pages an create and send plain text messages from anywhere on the Net; and Calendar Express, allowing users to remotely view and edit their schedules.
