NetSuite buys Retail Anywhere, adds to commerce portfolio

Summary:According to NetSuite, the plan is to take Retail Anywhere and build on to its SuiteCommerce platform.

NetSuite said Thursday that it acquired Retail Anywhere, which focuses on multi-channel commerce.

Terms of the deal weren’t' disclosed.

According to NetSuite, the plan is to take Retail Anywhere and build on to its SuiteCommerce platform. Specifically, Retail Anywhere focuses on point of sale software as systems. NetSuite will connect point of sale with its cloud platform.

NetSuite is also planning to use Retail Anywhere's contacts in the industry and expertise to grow its accounts.

Retail Anywhere was already a NetSuite development partner and has a series of Apple iOS apps. Retail Anywhere CEO Branden Jenkins will become general manager of NetSuite's e-tail/retail products.
