NetSuite on Wednesday announced a bevy of customer wins, rolled out a beefier Android app and updated procure-to-pay features in its cloud platform.

The announcements, made at the company's SuiteWorld powwow in San Jose, break down like this.

On the procure to pay front, NetSuite added features to make employee requisitions easier with a user interface akin to a business-to-consumer e-commerce experience. Employees can also order goods with one set of negotiations with a vendor. Workflow, procurement dashboards and vendor management was also improved.

NetSuite also revamped its Android app, which now unifies the company's ERP, CRM and e-commerce functions in one app. NetSuite touted Android's smartphone market share, but in the enterprise Apple's iOS has more of a footprint.

Dun & Bradstreet inked a deal with NetSuite to bundle its B2B data inside the cloud vendor's applications.

As for customer wins, NetSuite noted the following:

  • TGI Fridays will deploy NetSuite OneWorld to run its finance department.
  • Elite Model Management will also deploy OneWorld.
  • And Pebble, which makes smart watches, has deployed NetSuite tools for its e-commerce and ERP operations. What's most notable about the Pebble deal is that the smart watch vendor has grown up enough to need a bulked-up ERP system. Pebble started as a Kickstarter project in 2012.
