Networks 97 dubbed NetPC versus NC show
The Net PC will get its first UK public airing tomorrow when a number of leading vendors are expected to exhibit product at the Networks 97 show in Birmingham.
With the NetPC camp out in full force including Intel, Microsoft, Compaq, Dell and now Viglen, the publicity rug is expected to pulled from under the NC vendors.
Netscape will attempt to shift the emphasis of the show towards intranets. The company is publicly showing Communicator 4.0 for the first time, as well as the SuiteSpot 3.0 server family.
