New browser and eShop coming to Nintendo 3DS on June 6

Summary:A update for the Nintendo 3DS is coming on June 6, but the question is what will be on that update?

Nintendo will be updating the recently launched 3DS through a free, wireless download starting "the evening of June 6 Pacific time," according to its press release.

Players can expect a new Internet browser, access to an eShop to help players buy the latest downloadable content, among other new features but the statement was short on details.

It is a bit strange to me that the relatively new device is already getting an update, but I guess a wireless software update is easier to implement than delaying hardware shipment, even by just a few weeks.

Any guesses on what new features will be on this update?
