New CIO takes post at Sony Electronics

Sony Electronics has hired James Milde as its chief information officer, the company said Tuesday. Milde, previously senior vice president and chief information officer of the Pepsi Bottling Group, will be responsible for Sony Electronics' IT organization for supporting sales, marketing and manufacturing. Sony Electronics, based in Park Ridge, N.J., is the U.S. arm of Japan's Sony. --Richard Shim, Special to ZDNet News
