News Burst: AOL, Verio extend e-commerce deal

Verio has signed a marketing deal with America Online's European division for Web hosting and domain name registration services. The deal expands existing agreements between the two companies in the US and the UK to include AOL's new Netscape Online service, which launches today. Verio will promote its e-commerce, hosting and domain services through banner ads and buttons on the subscription-free Netscape service. Financial terms of the deal were not released.
