Research suggests that network operators need to appreciate the unique nature of 3G

More research on third-generation (3G) wireless networks suggests problems ahead.

A report published this month by US consultancy Alexander Resources, claims that network operators need to alter their current plans to reflect the unique needs of 3G. Failure to take account of issues such as rapid user movement, the use of non-voice services and short user sessions could lead to trouble in the future, the report suggests.
